Michael Molinoff was raised in Larchmont, NY and educated at the University of Rhode Island. After graduating with a degree in Communications, he embarked upon a photo journey around the world. There he developed his own unique style of interpreting cultures, people and their environments through his lens.
Upon returning, Molinoff embraced a number of professional opportunities while always recording his surroundings with his camera. Continuing his education at The International Center of Photography, he expanded his skills and fine-tuned his talent to pursue his passion for the photographic arts.
Molinoff’s extensive travel, and array of jobs have influenced his appreciation for life’s ever changing canvas. Whether he is encapsulating the spontaneous moments that make us smile or using light and color to enhance a scene, thanks to his keen eye, each piece truly is a distinctive work of art.
His work has been exhibited in NYC, the Hampton’s, Los Angeles, Europe, and Israel. Published in numerous magazines, he also has been commissioned to shoot the covers of celebrities’ books.
Molinoff believes in giving back to the community. He has donated his time as well as his talent to be auctioned off at charities such as Paul Newman’s Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, The Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation, as well as to local schools and museums accross the New York Metropolitan area.
When he isn’t creating art from life as he sees it, he shoots for ad agencies, consumer products, architectural and real estate development firms, portraits, and weddings. He invites you to sample his work at www.molinoffphoto.com or contact him at (917) 414-9222 or Michael@molinoff.com .
